Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrolman

Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer – Armed Financial Patrolman in Bridgeport, CT. In this role you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, such as financial institutions, by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible, deterrent presence.

Position type: Full Time
Pay rate: $23.76 / Hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 08:45 AM – 04:15 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service while carrying out security‑related procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Report and document any unusual occurrences, incidents, or concerns per Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and reassure clients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements

• Armed guard card or license required.
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Will be subject to a drug screen as allowed by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
