Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, elected officials, and other authorized individuals while carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen visitors and deliveries as directed, communicate entry requirements clearly, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services and/or site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, public areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
