Job summary

Allied Universal in Greenville, SC seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver to protect government healthcare locations, perform patrols, and provide professional customer service to staff, visitors, and patients. The role requires a valid driver’s license, 3+ years in security or Related fields, and a background check and drug screen.

Schedule includes evening shifts, with a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM pattern Sunday through Saturday as listed.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Licensing requirements may be needed prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization; direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies and request assistance when needed.
• Document observations and patrol activities per reporting procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to staff, visitors, and patients. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a government behavioral health care location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization in accordance with site procedures and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting appropriate assistance when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and completed patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have three or more years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
