Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors following site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving, and proper reporting.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry and exit per site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate with site leadership and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and observations.

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Incident Response in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position combines strong customer service, clear communication, and sound judgment. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry and exit in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
