Allied Universal in Renton, WA is seeking an Armed Mobile Response Driver to protect clients across aerospace/defense locations. You will perform patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and respond professionally to site needs.

The role requires prior armed security experience, a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, and a valid driver’s license. The position is full time with a 24/7 schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have at least one year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct armed patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Maintain armed post readiness, complete activity and incident reports, and coordinate with leadership and site representatives.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, access‑control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain required armed post readiness, complete accurate activity and incident reports, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have at least one year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
