Job summary

Allied Universal in Renton, WA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver. You will perform routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, support access control, and deliver excellent customer service.

This is a full-time driving position with a 10 PM–6 AM schedule. Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and are willing to undergo background and drug screenings.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to use communication and computer skills while working with a collaborative team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific visitor, employee, and contractor access procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
