Qualifications

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and agencies when needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and patrol logs per company and site requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Alarm Response Driver in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional service and communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
