Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as part of employment.
• Criminal histories will be considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, offices, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing visitors and vehicles, and documenting entries/exits.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, offices, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and vehicles, and documenting entries, exits, and unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support a professional environment for all personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
