Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and logistics location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, perimeter locations, and other areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, vehicles, and visitors.
• Document patrol observations and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and logistics location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, perimeter locations, shipping and receiving areas, and other assigned property areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, vehicles, and visitors in accordance with site-specific entry and exit procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
