Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Response in Chicago, IL to safeguard clients across industries. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

This full-time role requires minimum age 18, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred guard card/license.

Qualifications

Guard card/license preferred.
Access control/badge experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
CPR certification preferred.
Alarm panel experience preferred.
Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required by law.
Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff while following site policies and emergency procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions or violations.
Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and observations per site procedures.
