Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Framingham, MA to provide reliable, scheduled coverage with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts via our platform. The role pays $23.31 per hour and offers growth toward full-time opportunities.

Responsibilities include customer service, monitoring alarms, dispatching responders, documenting activities, and patrolling the site. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor and coordinate communications from alarms, radios, telephones, and other reporting systems; dispatch appropriate personnel for incidents, service requests, and critical situations.
• Document calls for service, incidents, activities, and dispatch actions accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and perimeter, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Event Dispatch in Framingham, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.31 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
