Job summary

Allied Universal in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Security Officer to protect people and property at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will perform security procedures, monitor access points, and respond to incidents.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients. The schedule is Mon-Fri, 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM, with morning shifts available.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document observations and incidents accurately.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
