• Pay Rate: $18/hr - $19/hr

• Part Time
• Second Shift: 5:30pm-Midnight/Last Flight (may extend to 3 AM)
• Third Shift: 4:00am-10:30am
• Weekend availability required
• 24 hours a week

Primary Responsibilities

As an unarmed Security Officer, your duties may include:

• Access Control: Ensuring only authorized individuals access the site and monitoring vehicles for unauthorized goods.
• Foot Patrol: Walking interior and exterior areas to identify security, safety, or maintenance issues.
• Monitor Exit Lanes: Managing re-entry of visitors.
• Vehicle Inspections: Conducting random screenings.

Success as a Security Officer

• Reliability: Punctuality, presentation, and uniform compliance.
• Customer Service: Friendly demeanor balancing client policies and rules enforcement.
• Policy Adherence: Following post guidelines and completing tasks.
• De-escalation: Using verbal communication to defuse situations.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED.
• No felony convictions; able to pass background check.
• Pass a drug test; willing to become CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record (<3 violations/accidents in 3 years, no major violations).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and respond to emergencies.
• Ability to work independently.
