Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation per site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
