Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site procedures, access control requirements, and emergency procedures.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes.
• Maintain entry/exit records and observe vehicle, personnel, and material traffic per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access.

As an Access Control Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, assist with badge-related access, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, personnel, and material traffic in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
