Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Admin Building in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an patrol officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This position requires carrying a firearm and may involve driving as part of your patrol duties. You will contribute to a positive environment by acting with integrity, working as part of a team, and putting people first in all interactions.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed01:00 PM - 06:00 PMFri01:00 PM - 06:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Help to deter unwanted activity through visible presence and engagement with individuals at the location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or observations according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required and must meet AU Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
