Allied Universal in Charlestown, IN is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Access Verification Patrol. You will monitor and protect client sites in a technology, media, and telecom environment, providing professional customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.

Your duties include conducting regular patrols, controlling access at entry points, logging incidents, and responding calmly to incidents according to site procedures. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include access control and badge experience, being at least 18 (unarmed) or 21+ (armed), and a high school diploma.
• Background check and drug screen are required by policy; licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Verification Patrol in Charlestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while helping maintain a secure environment. Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports as required by site policy.
• Communicate observations, unusual activity, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
