Job summary

Allied Universal in Anderson, SC is seeking a Security Officer Access Control to protect and assist employees, visitors, and contractors while enforcing site policies and access controls. As a Security Officer Access Control in Anderson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control systems, verify credentials, manage visitor entry processes, and document access-related activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology-focused facilities, including entrances, restricted areas, business spaces, and perimeter locations.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift communications to support security-related operations and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
