Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate location by following site procedures and access-control practices.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions.
• Maintain daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Access Screening in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
