Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and respond to concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain professional interactions with all individuals entering the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Document daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
