Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a healthcare location by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, and maintaining a visible presence that helps deter incidents. You will provide welcoming customer service, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at a healthcare-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of laboratory, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, documenting entries, incidents, and observations using required reporting tools.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain awareness of healthcare-related operational requirements, protect confidential information encountered during duties, and communicate professionally with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
