Job summary

Allied Universal in Ingleside, TX is seeking a Security Officer Access Management Driver for a full-time night shift. The role requires a valid driver’s license and involves controlling access, verifying credentials, and delivering excellent customer service at a manufacturing site.

You will monitor entry points, issue badges, conduct patrols, and respond calmly to incidents while following site procedures. Pay is $16.00 per hour with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at site access control points and enforce policies.
• Monitor entry/exit, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, issue access badges.
• Control access for employees, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles per site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, exterior areas, and perimeter.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, issue access badges, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, exterior areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
