Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency responses.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain access logs.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries per site procedures to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to access-control incidents and alarms, notifying site contacts and leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols and report hazards, irregular conditions, and policy violations.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access‑related logs and records.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to access‑control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, building areas, and perimeter locations, reporting observed hazards, irregular conditions, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
