Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Visitor Processing Driver in Ingleside, TX to serve and safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will manage entry, monitor access, and support a secure environment while delivering friendly customer service.

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• TWIC issued by TSA is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• State/county/city security license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Criminal histories considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by executing site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue passes, and maintain logs.
• Control entry/exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries per site procedures to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond calmly to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, building areas, and perimeter locations; report hazards and policy violations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, building areas, and perimeter locations, reporting observed hazards, irregular conditions, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
