Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver in Ingleside, TX. This part-time role focuses on protecting personnel and property while managing access at a manufacturing site.

Responsibilities include verifying credentials, patrolling, and maintaining logs. Requirements: TSA TWIC, valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year in security. Weekend daytime shifts available via our shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• State/city security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor or contractor passes, maintaining access logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control concerns, alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate activity, visitor, incident, and access-control documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
