Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures and site rules.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in, and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and report observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and interior locations.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and access-control records and communicate with staff and responders.

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and badge records, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate clearly with site personnel, and help identify and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and control access to restricted food and beverage production, storage, and distribution areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report relevant observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and designated interior locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, delivery, and access-control records while communicating professionally with employees, vendors, drivers, and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
