Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will protect clients across logistics and distribution facilities, manage entry points, verify credentials, and deliver professional customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity.
• Control access for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and vehicles in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
