Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Management in Santa Teresa, NM. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access, and maintain a visible, customer‑focused security presence at a logistics site.

Typical schedule is Mon–Fri, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM. Responsibilities include responding to incidents, patrolling, and documenting entry records while adhering to site policies and emergency procedures. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will conduct a background investigation as required by law.
• A drug screen may be required as a condition of employment.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Management in Santa Teresa, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and entry systems; verify credentials and authorization before permitting access to the distribution location.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
