Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while following site procedures.

• Screen incoming vehicles, drivers, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, shipping/receiving areas, and perimeters.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors and contractors, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen incoming vehicles, drivers, and deliveries as directed, helping maintain orderly movement through gates, yards, and designated entry points.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, shipping and receiving areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
