Allied Universal in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a Security Officer Access Entry - Overnight to safeguard clients across tech/manufacturing environments. You will manage visitor and badge access, monitor entry points, and provide welcoming customer service.

This is a full-time, overnight position with a 10:00 PM–6:00 AM schedule. Pay is $17.47 per hour. You will use computer systems, document incidents, and contribute to a safety-focused culture with training and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ages: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and follow entry/exit protocols for a technology-focused site.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Document incidents and access-control activity in reports and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

As an Access Control Officer at a technology-focused location, you will manage visitor and badge access, monitor entry points, support security-related procedures, and provide welcoming customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and may drive as part of assigned duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and follow established entry and exit protocols for a technology-focused manufacturing location.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document incidents, access-control activity, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
