Job summary

Allied Universal in Greenville, SC is seeking a Security Officer Entry Control to manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and respond to alarm panel notifications at a manufacturing and industrial site. You will maintain a visible presence, deliver exceptional customer service, and follow site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing/industrial site.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verify credentials, screen visitors, issue passes, and maintain access records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner per established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain logs and reports for visitor activity, access events, incidents, and shift handoffs.

As a Security Officer Entry Control in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to alarm panel notifications. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for visitor activity, access control events, incidents, and shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
