Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Credential Management in Goodyear, AZ. Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Credential Management in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel. You will use technology to document activity, communicate clearly, and provide outstanding customer service while helping to deter unauthorized access. Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Screen and direct incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, delivery personnel, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
