Allied Universal, Earth City, MO, is seeking a Security Officer Access Point Operations to safeguard client sites across logistics and distribution. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations.

Qualifications

• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorized entry, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.
• Control the entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and shipments in accordance with established procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
