Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control in Fulton, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet-based tools. Pay Rate: $16.28 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and team members while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
