Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, invites applications for a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time at our Fulton, MO site. This role offers reliable hours with a base shift and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform.

You will perform customer service for employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors, monitor access, respond to incidents, and complete patrols to deter unauthorized activity.

Qualifications

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Fulton, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
