Job summary

Coastal Security Services, Inc. (CSSI) is hiring Unarmed Security Officers to cover client sites across Savannah, Pooler, Rincon, GA, Fairfax, SC, and Jacksonville, FL. Posts include gated communities, industrial campuses, hotels, and federal facilities.

We hire continuously; once screened, placement follows license, location, and availability. Posts are 24/7 with 8- or 12-hour shifts; full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Currently licensed or ability to obtain the security registration for the state you will work.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to stand, walk, and patrol for a full shift.
• Clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Control access at gates and entry points; verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and respond to incidents and alarms.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, daily activity reports, and incident reports.
• Observe and report safety hazards, policy violations, and suspicious activity.
• Serve as the professional first point of contact for everyone entering the property.
