Job summary

Coastal Security Services, Inc. is seeking Unarmed Security Officers for client sites in the Savannah, GA area and surrounding regions. This standing posting fills posts across gated communities, industrial campuses, hotels, and federal facilities.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting. Shifts include 8- and 12-hour posts with full-time and part-time options; starting pay is $18 per hour with overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to stand, walk, and patrol for a full shift.
• Clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Control access at gates and entry points; verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and respond to incidents and alarms.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, daily activity reports, and incident reports.
• Observe and report safety hazards, policy violations, and suspicious activity.
• Serve as the professional first point of contact for everyone entering the property.
