Job summary

Allied Universal in Macon, Missouri, is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Patrol to safeguard facilities at a food and beverage site. You will monitor access, conduct patrols, and provide friendly customer service to employees and visitors while following site procedures.

This role emphasizes alertness, reporting of hazards, and cooperation with supervision. Prior access-control or CPR/First Aid experience is preferred, with a driver’s license required for driving posts.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver's license required for driving posts if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking lots, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and documenting arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident documentation.
• Observe and report hazards, damaged property, access-control concerns, and other security-related conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Officer Access Control Patrol in Macon, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and report observations while contributing to a caring, reliable team culture built on integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
