Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Background histories considered in a manner consistent with laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a food production location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, deliveries, and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and report to site contacts and responders as needed.
• Document patrols, access activity, incidents, and observations in logs and reports.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food production location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, access activity, incidents, and observations accurately in required logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
