Job summary

Allied Universal, Marshall, MO, is seeking a Security Officer Rotating Patrol to protect and monitor a food and beverage location. You will provide customer service, perform roving patrols, control access, and report incidents to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.

The role is full-time, paying $17.00 per hour, with a consistent afternoon shift schedule from Tuesday to Saturday. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a proactive security presence on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior/exterior and perimeter; report security concerns.
• Monitor entrances/exits and verify credentials; maintain visitor and vehicle records.
• Respond to incidents and alarms per site procedures and communicate with responders.
• Complete timely incident and shift reports.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials and visitor authorization; and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and promptly communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Observe and report conditions that could affect operations, product areas, employee access, or facility property, and complete clear, timely incident and shift reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
