Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Forest, MS to protect clients and provide a safe, welcoming environment. As an Unarmed Officer at a food/beverage location, you will monitor areas, conduct rounds, deter incidents, and support access control with clear communication and customer service.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $15.20 / Hour.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations.
• Maintain daily activity logs and incident reports.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, vendors, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation related to assigned duties.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, vendors, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation related to assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
