Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials, reporting issues.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports per site procedures.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
