Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Access Control in Gardner, KS. You will safeguard clients, manage entry points, verify credentials, and deliver strong customer service in a manufacturing/industrial setting.

The role is full time with a schedule that includes day shifts. You will participate in access control procedures, incidents response, and regular site patrols while upholding Allied Universal’s people-first culture and safety standards.

Qualificações

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigations as required by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control in Gardner, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, production spaces, and the perimeter to help identify irregular conditions and help deter unauthorized access.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access control concerns accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
