Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for a warehouse location in Gardner, KS. You will help protect employees and visitors, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers a flexible weekend schedule with access to company tools to view and claim shifts. A background check and drug screening are required to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor badges, and maintain access-control records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations accurately using required logs, reports, and/or electronic systems.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 12:00 AM - 10:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 10:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
