Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Earth City, Missouri. The role involves safeguarding facilities at a logistics/distribution site, managing badge credentials, and controlling entry points while delivering strong customer service.

You will monitor access, assist visitors, and report security concerns. The position is full-time with a daytime schedule and requires a background check and standard licensing compliance.

Formación

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Background check conducted per federal/state/local laws.

Responsabilidades

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle gates, and receiving areas; inspect identification and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
