Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Identity Checkpoint in Earth City, MO. You will manage access at a logistics and distribution site, verify credentials, monitor badge access, and assist employees and visitors while maintaining a secure environment.

The role emphasizes visible presence, site awareness, and strong customer service. You will work a part-time schedule on weekends with opportunities to expand into related roles via our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:
