As a Security Officer Entry Authorization Desk in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Control access to restricted areas, communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
