Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Credential Control in Earth City, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery or driver access in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-related logs and reports, including visitor, contractor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, loading areas, parking locations, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
