As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage site, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access to maintain a secure environment while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and a background check.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify identifications and credentials, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain required records.
• Control entry and exit for employees, vendors, and drivers per site procedures and escalate concerns as needed.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations for designated contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
