Job summary

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for partners, employees, clients and visitors. You will authorize entry, patrol premises, monitor surveillance systems, and prepare clear daily activity reports.

Responsibilities include coordinating with emergency services, supporting administrative tasks, and assisting with conference room management. A NY license and 2–5 years in corporate security are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NY State Security License required.
• Experience in corporate security preferred.
• Some college education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hold one of three standing posts to authorize entry and escort visitors.
• Patrol premises to ensure safety and protect property.
• Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms.
• Prepare daily activity reports and irregularity logs.
• Coordinate with police, fire and emergency services when needed.
• Handle conference room reservations and deliver items as requested.
• Escort employees for supplies and ensure confidentiality where required.
